A Business Idea: Simplifying What’s Hard in Fiber Networks
Over the last few years, I’ve been trying to build something that truly matters. My goal? To create a simple and affordable IT tool for the single most critical — and often most frustrating — part of fiber optic networks: fiber splice documentation. Sure, you can draw a network map in Google Earth or QGIS. But try documenting real fiber connections across hundreds or thousands of fibers — that’s where things break down fast. Without IT support, it becomes unmanageable. Where did the idea come from? Since 2014, I’ve worked with fiber operators.
